Can I share my studio with an artist from outside the Peel region?
Artists participating in the Peel Open Studios can choose to share their studio space with a guest artist who does not live or operate within the Peel region. However, these artists cannot register or submit an individual application and can only participate as part of a shared studio or collective arrangement.
When do registrations close?
Registrations will close 16 January 2023 (unless otherwise notified).
Late registrations are not accepted.

Are we eligible to register if we are a local art group or collective?
Yes! Art groups may choose to participate as a collective. In this circumstance, the normal registration fee will be charged once and the art group will receive one collective listing (eg. ‘Mandurah Painters Association’ will be listed as one body).
Am I able to share my studio space with another artist?
Yes! If two artists share a studio space, they may choose to split the payment or register individually. In the instance that artists choose to split a payment, only one artist profile will be listed (eg. the duo will occupy one listing on the printed program, and share a webpage on the website).
Am I able to register as an individual artist, and as part of an art collective?
Yes! Artists are able to register as both an individual artist, and as part of a collective. However, two separate registrations will be required and artists will need to clearly indicate if their studio will be closed for specific days during the event.

OPENING FAQS

Am I required to open my studio space every day during the event?
You are not required to open your studio every day. To make the most of the event, we recommend opening on both weekends from 10am - 4pm. However, there is no minimum or maximum opening time requirements - artists may choose to open their studio during the week by appointment only or during set visiting hours.
Am I required to stay at my studio space during the opening hours?
Yes. Artists (or at least one representative if participating as a collective) are required to remain at the studio venue during opening times, to greet visitors.
INSURANCE FAQS
Do I need to have Public Liability Insurance for my studio premises to take part?
Yes - all participating artists are required to have Public Liability Insurance that covers their studio premises, throughout the duration of the Peel Open Studios event (mini. $10 mil for each occurrence).
