About the Artist
Lisa enthusiastically takes photos of the environment, estuarine wildlife, collecting driftwood, and watching the seasonal changes of colours, textures, light, and patterns of the environment, this is what Lisa is
passionate about.
From these experiences she crafts and creates a variety of semi abstract landscape scenes with quirky wildlife and driftwood sculptures.
A variety of new techniques and processes has seen Lisa develop a new field of quirky wildlife characters. These have been a new development in Lisa`s abstract environmental paintings that has led to a new direction of interest and intrigue. Studying the formation of birdlife and dolphins Lisa has developed a love of presenting all thing environmental.

With many hours of walking along the estuary Lisa often finds many varieties of driftwood or reclaimed dead wood that have been crafted into a variety of 3d driftwood sculptures.
This new adventure of driftwood sculptures has birthed a new direction in Lisa's art practise. Creating new adventures, develops new skills and techniques that can be applied with old ones to craft new experimental art
pieces.
