About the Artist
Contact Information
Carmen is a multidisciplinary artist best known for her felting work, winning the Major Prize at Ellenbrook Arts awards in 2023
Ceramic sculpture is a very much-loved art form which Carmen started in 1987 in Sydney.

Faces are a subject she enjoys creating, whether in ceramics, paintings and recently using Euclay, a clay she invented, made with dry eucalyptus leaves as the main component.

2024, Castaways Sculpture Awards exhibited one of her busts made with a combination of ceramics and Euclay.

Cold Porcelain clay is also a medium she uses routinely and has won her some awards at The Perth Royal Show and invitations to demonstrate during the show for 4 consecutive years.
