Lauren is an emerging Visual Artist and Graphic Designer from Perth, Western Australia.

With a strong pop art influence, her contemporary work explores real female bodies, aiming to help break stereotypes and reshape perceptions about the ideal female form.

As a millennial, she has seen the evolution of so-called “beauty standards”, throughout the 90s until now. Lauren has seen the damage done to our personal relationships with our bodies and the bodies around us. She feels that it’s not just her generation, there's so much work to do in this space. Every body is art, and she is here to show you that.

Oil and acrylic are Lauren's hero mediums, creating a really fun, bold and dynamic visual. The artist is always evolving, and passionate about taking her art to the next level, to create an impact, and to continue this important dialogue.

Lauren is inherently creative and loves to get her hands dirty, she will give anything a crack! Besides painting, she creates funky polymer clay earrings, digitally illustrated giclee prints, screen-prints, and builds her own frames.

During Peel Open Studios 2024, Lauren Repton is sharing a studio space with Jacqueline Watt and Tim Green.
