About the Artist

LuLu has always been an artist in one format or another. As a child she was involved in amateur dramatics and theatre. Her love for visual art was ignited by her Father who used to take her and her brother to art galleries and museums to witness both modern art and the Great Masters. Importantly he taught them that places of worship were the best places to admire expert craftsmanship at its very best for that time in history.

LuLu excelled at Art throughout school and followed her artistic passion becoming a professional Dancer and Gymnast. LuLu created her own international Cabaret Show as a teenager, which travelled the world performing in Theatres, Hotels and Cabaret Shows. Her passion for Art has never waned, during her travels she ensured that almost every day, there was investigation and appreciation of the local architecture, galleries, museums and places of worship.

Primarily a self taught Visual Artist, she attends regular workshops facilitated by accomplished and professional Artists, thus allowing her to experience and experiment with a plethora of styles, mediums and applications. Her work always manages to drift away from the class technique that is being demonstrated and she naturally evoles into her own eclectic style.

Culture, history, the taste of adventure and glamour are evident in her boldness of palette knife, brush stroke, colour and texture.
