"Painting is a great way to remind us to celebrate. It can bring joy by capturing the amazing beauty of our precious planet.".

Through the use of silk dyes on silk Sheila uses surface art to keep our connection with the natural world alive. She mixes and blends the dyes while they are flowing on the silk and uses a resist to control the flow and create images.

She loves to travel along our coast exploring and gathering inspiration for her next creative journey. She is inspired by the stunning ocean, its wildlife and the amazing landscape here in Western Australia.
